O Tannenbaum

Today, I took down the Christmas tree.

Wait, what?

It’s Saturday, March 27th.  What the heck am I doing with a Christmas trees still up?

Well, it’s the tree on my folks’ back deck, and they leave it there into a spring as a sole beacon of Christmas past.  (Too much?)  And I have to say, if you come home late at night, from the city or a drink up the road with a friend, it’s a pretty swell sight to see a few lights, shining in the darkness.

But it’s March 27th.  So to hell with all that.

I would imagine that you need a light to guide you. I will leave it at that.
